Reporting your volunteer hours
Please enter your hours on a weekly basis. You may include training and travel time in addition to actual volunteer time. All of Hogar’s grants require us to collect information on how many hours are donated by volunteers, so please enter your hours in a timely manner to help us in our grant reporting, fundraising efforts and other fiscal matters. Thank you!
Instructions for reporting volunteer hours:
- Click “Login/Register” in the top right hand corner
- Username and password are the ones you set up when you created an account to fill out the volunteer application
- We recommend using your email address as your username; if you’ve forgotten your username, try that first
- Staff cannot retrieve your password for your- please use the “Forgot your password?” tool
- Click “Report my Service” in the Volunteer Main Menu
- Enter your hours
- If you perform more than one volunteer placement with Hogar, you will need to choose the corresponding placement from the “Select a Survey” drop down list.The only required field in “Hours”. Please enter a date as well. Don’t forget to click “Ok” when you’re done.

In some cases, yes. For example, the St. Lucy Food Warehouse welcomes families and youth volunteers ages 9 and older. Please check individual opportunity listings for age requirements.
We offer a range of short-term and ongoing opportunities. Our team will work with you to find a volunteer role that suits your availability and interests.
Not necessarily. Many roles offer on-site orientation and training. Some positions may require specific skills, background checks, or additional screening, which will be noted in the opportunity details.
Yes, in many cases we can accommodate court-ordered or school-required service hours. Please contact us in advance to confirm eligibility and requirements.
Yes! We welcome school groups, parish ministries, corporate teams, and other organizations. Group opportunities may require advance scheduling—please contact the Office of Volunteers to coordinate.
Dress comfortably and appropriately for the activity. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for most service opportunities. Any required items or special instructions will be provided ahead of time.
Yes, there are select opportunities that involve administrative support, virtual engagement, or behind-the-scenes service. These can be a great fit for individuals who prefer flexible or off-site involvement.
