President & CEO

Dear Friends in Christ,

Thank you for your interest in Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington and for taking the time to learn about our mission and the many ways we serve those in need throughout our communities.

As the charitable arm of the Diocese of Arlington, Catholic Charities puts our faith into action by responding to Christ’s call to care for those most in need. We serve our neighbors because we recognize Christ in each person, regardless of their background or circumstances.

I first connected with Catholic Charities through volunteering at Christ House and St. Margaret of Cortona. Those encounters with individuals and families facing difficult circumstances left a lasting impression on me and strengthened my passion of serving others with compassion, dignity, and respect.

I am deeply grateful to Bishop Michael F. Burbidge for his pastoral leadership and to our dedicated employees, volunteers, parishes, and generous supporters who make this work possible.

As Interim President and CEO, I look forward to supporting our ministries and helping prepare Catholic Charities for its next chapter. Above all, those who turn to us in times of need will continue to find compassion and a helping hand.

May God bless our diocese and guide us as we faithfully serve our brothers and sisters in need.

In Christ,

Ron Riggins
Interim President and CEO
