English & Citizenship Classes
We offer six different levels of full English Immersion that improves listening, speaking, reading, & writing. Our classes in the morning & evening. We also offer an English Literacy in Manassas for those who cannot read & write.
Our Citizenship classes help prepare students for the Naturalization Interview. Curriculum includes covering the 128 questions, reading & writing practices, U.S History, mock interviews, & understanding questions on the N-400 Application for Naturalization. Citizenship classes are in English, and students should have at least an Intermediate level of English to enroll.
What does the Naturalization Interview test on?
- Speaking: Answer questions to show you can understand & speak English.
- Reading: Read 1 of 3 sentences correctly.
- Writing: Write 1 of 3 sentences correctly.
- Civics: Answer 10 out of 20 questions correctly from the list of 128.
Education & Workforce Development prides itself in offering English as a Second Language & Citizenship Preparation courses. Our low-cost classes are offered in Manassas, Sterling, & online. Each box corresponds to a different class option, so be sure to select the one that fits you best.
Adult Workforce Development Courses
Catholic Charities provides Workforce Development courses to encourage personal & professional growth including Computer Literacy, English for Childcare, & Grow with Google Academy.

Yes, we do accept late registrations for our classes. It depends on space availability & how long classes are in session.
- For English classes, we close registration on the 4th week of class.
- For Citizenship Preparation, we close registration on the 6th week of class. Exceptions are possible, please contact the office for more information.
- For Workforce Development, we close registration after the 2nd week of class.
