Help Support Newcomers
Catholic Charities mobilizes volunteers to provide critical support for newly arrived families. We welcome help in many areas, such as:
- English, Citizenship, & Workforce Training Teachers
- Office Assistants
- Pro Bono Attorneys & Legal Assistants
- Interpreters
- Mentors for Young Adults
- Friends to accompany newcomers on their journey to U.S. citizenship
These roles offer deep impact and interpersonal connection, providing the guidance and encouragement that newcomers need to build a new life.
We provide all necessary training. Offer your professional skills or simply your time and your smile. Become a volunteer and turn your compassion into concrete change.

Volunteer with Education and Workforce Development
Volunteers play a critical role at Education and Workforce Development (EWD). We have more than 800 active volunteers across our program, and we could not serve thousands of students each year were it not for the generosity and dedication of our volunteers.
