Need to talk? Catholic Charities Family Services provides quality mental health services grounded in a Catholic understanding of the human person.
Our therapists offer a mix of counseling services for individual adults or children, couples and families. They offer distance telehealth sessions as well as in-person at a variety of locations in the Diocese of Arlington, including 10 parishes.

At Catholic Charities’ Family Services, we provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families. We integrate the Catholic faith into our services, which are available to people of all faiths and backgrounds. We are committed to empowering clients to overcome emotional and/or behavioral obstacles that prevent them from realizing their full God-given potential. Our staff members bring compassion and diverse clinical experience to the services they provide our clients.
What We Do
We offer transformational out-patient counseling services to individuals, couples, parent-child relationships, and families.

Our intake process is easy. Just call our intake coordinators to initiate service. If you live in the South Region – Fredericksburg area and south, call 540-371-1124*. Psychological Assessments
At Catholic Charities’ Family Services, we offer psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults within the Diocese of Arlington. While we are a part of Catholic Charities, we offer services to anyone in need. The cost for a psychological assessment is based on a sliding scale which can make receiving an assessment more affordable. We offer assessments for diagnosis of mental health concerns as well as vocational assessments for religious orders.
