Fulfilling the Church’s mission of social justice in the Diocese of Arlington

Catholic Charities has more than 20 ministries to address the needs of poor and vulnerable men, women and families who live in the 21 counties and seven cities of the Diocese of Arlington. We go where the needs are now, while also preparing to respond to the future needs of the disenfranchised within our community.

Through the various ministries and services, Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington seeks to implement the Church’s mission of social justice in the Diocese of Arlington in ways that strengthen individuals, families, and communities.

Catholic Charities extends its services and resources to all in need; convenes the Catholic community to fulfill the Church’s mission of social justice; and advocates for social justice and seeks to empower others to do the same.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington fulfills its mission through numerous ministries and services including family counseling, adoption services, immigration services, jobs ministry, prison ministry, food pantries, and family transitional housing.
