Citizenship classes are designed to help applicants prepare for their naturalization interviews. Naturalization interviews have 4 different parts:
- Speaking - you must demonstrate you can speak English by answering questions about your form n-400 Application for Naturalization
- Reading - you must read one out of three sentences correctly in English
- Writing - you must write one out of three sentences correctly in English
- Civics - you must correctly answer six out of ten civics questions from the list of
100 questions.
Our citizenship classes cover all of these skills during our regular class sessions. We also offer “mock interviews” to help students practice what the interview will be like.
Citizenship classes are offered only in English, and you must have a low-intermediate level of English to enroll.
We offer citizenship classes at five different sites and partner with an additional location.
