Celebrating 50 years of serving Alexandria
Read the press release.
Christ House offers an evening meal every night of the year. Homeless and low-income individuals are welcome to enjoy a nutritious dinner and the companionship of their neighbors at no cost. The dinners are currently to-go meals and can be picked up every night, in all weather conditions, from 5 to 5:30 p.m.
Guests may begin to arrive a few minutes early and wait for the service to begin, but must arrive by 5:30 p.m. to be assured of receiving a meal. Guests who arrive after 5:30 p.m. will receive a meal only if there are leftovers.
Catholic Charities volunteers prepare and serve the meal with tremendous grace and hospitality. Over 40 churches, youth groups and local businesses donate their time and resources to preparing a healthy and balanced meal to vulnerable residents of Alexandria and the surrounding areas. We invite you to join us.
