Case Worker Trainee

Hello! I joined this team in 2023. Prior to joining Catholic Charities, I completed my undergrad from George Mason in neuroscience and gained experience at research institutes such as NIMH and NIAAA, focusing on alcohol addiction and autism. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in mental health counseling, where I work with struggling adolescents. I've always been fascinated by people's stories and their resilience in overcoming hardships, so assisting them in overcoming these challenges has always felt like a natural calling to me. A typical day at Catholic Charities involves working from our Fairfax office, where I support adoptive families with ongoing adoption education, connect with community professionals to promote pregnancy adoption support, and facilitate reunions between adult adoptees and their birth families.

My co-workers and close friends typically describe me as adventurous, ambitious, and dependable. 

Loves: gardening, desserts, traveling, biking, Pakistani food, true crime, and meeting new people.
Dislikes: mosquitos, coffee, driving, and being scratched by my cats.
