Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Arlington has three offices in Fredericksburg, which serves the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Westmoreland, Lancaster, Northumberland, Richmond, Orange, Madison, Culpeper, and Fauquier, as well as the city of Fredericksburg. Fredericksburg Family Services
Fredericksburg Family Services, located in Fredericksburg, serves the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Westmoreland, as well as the city of Fredericksburg. The staff provides counseling (for an individual adults, children, adolescents, families, and couples), psychological testing and assessment, referrals for emergency assistance, and information. The staff participates in community development.
Individuals, families, and couples experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression are provided help in resolving their difficulties and gaining a clearer understanding of themselves, their relationships, and their life situations.

Diapers, diapering supplies, clothing, formula, and parenting resource information are available to a parent or guardian of a child that is 24 months old or younger. The Closet is designed to assist a parent or guardian during a temporary crisis or emergency.

Baby donations may be delivered next door to St. Matthew's Thrift Store Monday-Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Hours of Operation:
Baby Needs assistance: Wednesday 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; Friday 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Second and Fourth Saturday 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (Please note that we are closed if a fifth Wednesday and/or Friday occurs during the month)
The office of Migration and Refugee services offers a comprehensive array of resettlement services to help newcomers "get on their feet" and become self-sufficient as soon as possible after arrival. Click here for more information.
This office serves as a center for information and referral, including referrals for emergency assistance. The staff is available to consult with parish and community groups who share the goals of the agency.
Our office is located at 1101 Stafford Ave, Fredericksburg VA 22401. From I-95, take exit 130A, and continue on Route 3 East for approximately one mile. Turn left at the light onto William St (Route 3 Business). Proceed 0.2 miles, and then turn left onto Stafford Ave. Turn right into St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception’s church parking lot. The Catholic Charities Fredericksburg office is located in the brick house next to the church.
