Family Services' Staff

WHO WE ARE

At Catholic Charities' Family Services, we provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families of all faiths and backgrounds. We are committed to empowering clients to overcome emotional and/or behavioral obstacles that prevent them from realizing their full potential. Our staff members bring compassion and diverse clinical experience to the services they provide our clients. We offer counseling services at a variety of locations in the northern Virginia area.

WHAT WE DO

We offer out-patient counseling services to individuals, couples, parent-child relationships, and families. We occasionally offer group counseling for a variety of issues such as separation and divorce, grief and loss, anger and behavior management, social skills, and other topics. We also provide consultation to parishes and schools upon request.

Clients often seek services for issues such as:

Our intake process is easy and requires only that you call 540-371-1124 (for the South Region) or 703-425-0109 (for the North Region) to initiate services. When you call, a clinical staff person will discuss your situation briefly on the phone. For more information, please click on the link above.

Thanksgiving Care Bags Project

Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate the abundance of God’s many blessings in our lives. It is also a time to recognize those among us who struggle with poverty and may not have a home to share God’s love.

This Thanksgiving, Catholic Charities asks you to come together with your loved ones to assemble meaningful Care Bags right in your own home. Your Care Bags will be distributed to those in need throughout the Diocese through our “Mobile Response Center Vehicle.” We appreciate your prayers and your support!

For more information, contact Sally O’Dwyer at sodwyer@ccda.net.
